At WK Wazalendo Foundation, we harness the power of sports to inspire positive social behavior while advancing environmental conservation. We believe that sports provide a powerful entry point to engage young people, build discipline and leadership, and create safe spaces where positive values can thrive.
Our sports-based programs integrate tree planting, environmental clean-ups, and climate awareness campaigns into organized sporting activities. By linking physical activity with environmental action, we transform sports fields, schools, and community spaces into platforms for learning, stewardship, and collective responsibility.
Beyond environmental action, our programs play a critical role in preventing drug and substance abuse. Through mentorship, coaching, and positive peer engagement, young people are guided toward healthy lifestyles, informed choices, and a strong sense of purpose. Sports become an alternative path—offering belonging, structure, and hope where vulnerability and risk once existed.
We work with local coaches, mentors, schools, and community leaders to ensure that sports programs are inclusive and impactful. Women and girls are actively encouraged to participate, promoting gender equity, confidence, and leadership alongside boys and young men.
