More than 75 percent of Earth’s land areas are substantially degraded, undermining the well-being of 3.2 billion people.To address this issues WK Wazalendo Foundation has joined hands with PACJA,to hold an annual tree planting campaign dubbed " Lets Go Green" whereby atleast 2,000 trees will be planted.

WK Wazalendo is working with the community to ensure that the well-being of the environment is taken care of ,while in return the human well-being is supported.We advocate for a sustainable and a well balanced environment whereby the human interaction with the environment is responsible and does not jeorpadize the needs of future generations.
What We Do
Tree Planting
We encourage and support the community especialy the youth groups and farmers to grow tree fruits like Avocados,Mangoes and tree seedlings for commercial and economic benefits.By growing trees the environment is conserved while the individual/farmers benefits from;
- Clean and healthy environment
- Seedlings for sale
- Timber for home and commercial use
- Fruits for home and commercial benefits
- Bamboo
- Bee Keeping
- Firewood
Responsible Farming
We sensitize farmers to practice responsible farming,by encouraging them to;
- Plant Napier grass.This will increases soil fertility while preventing soil erosion along the slopy areas.
- Dig terraces along the slopes in order to reduce soil erosion during heavy rains.
- Practice commercial bee keeping.This will reduce the rate of tree cutting while also generating income for the farmer.
- To use natural fencing methods by planting trees around the farm boundaries.
